Centre Information
General Information
Tamaki Recreation Centre is situated in the Auckland suburb of Glen Innes, about 15 minutes from the city centre and within easy reach the Eastern Bays and SH 1. The centre is a shared facility with Tamaki College and the Tamaki Recreation Centre Trust Board.
The recreation centre is available for hire from 7.00 am through until 11.00 pm, Monday to Sunday.

Fitness Suite
Tamaki Recreation Centre Fitness Suite is open to Fitness Members at the following times. Participants must be 15 years and over to become a member of Gym to use the Fitness Suite.
Monday to Friday
11:00 am to 1.30 pm and 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm
(subject to team bookings)
Saturday
8.00 am to 11.00 am and 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm
Sunday
5.00 pm to 8.00 pm
Normal Fitness Suite Charges
Induction/membership Fee $10.00
(inductions must be booked and paid for in advance, cash and Eftops only)
Express Induction $20.00
(This is an option if you choose to do the induction there and then. There will be a delay before the induction is taken or subject to staff availability, current fitness suite use, change over times in the sportshall and any other reason which would affect the centre operation. We reserve the right to decline an express induction)
Per Visit Fee $2.50
($1.50 Students with Valid ID)
Casual use $15.00
(per person, per visit)
Monthly Card $30.00
(per calander month)
Ten Session Card $25.00
Fitness Classes
Participants must be over the age of 13 years to attend classes. For more information contact reception on (09)521-6438
Monday ZUMBA - Come join the Party
6.00 pm to 7.00 pm
$5.00 per person. Paticipants must be over the age of 13 years to attend the class. Turn up on the night and ZUMBA the night away.
Wednesday Tamaki Spin Class (Moderate fitness level)
6.30 pm to 7.30 pm
$4.50 members, $10.00 non members. Contact reception to book a bike
Thursday Tamaki Cardio Burn (Moderate fitness level)
6.00 pm to 7.00 pm
Limit of 22 people in the class.
$2.50 members, $5.00 non members
Friday ZUMBA - Come join the Party
6.00 pm to 7.00 pm (Classes Started)
$5.00 per person. Paticipants must be over the age of 13 years to attend the class. Turn up on the night and ZUMBA the night away.
